Title:Render Count Vs Viewport Count Issue in Arnold

Problem

Description:

I installed the latest update to arnold but it seems the issues remains that I cannot use IPR without every hair chosen in the render count being loaded in the viewport for it to render. Standard (non-progressive) render works as expected. But this is obviously an annoying workflow not being able to use IPR and if you choose IPR by accident you will not doubt overload the GFX card and crash when working on a more complex hair set up.

I beleive this was supposed to be addressed in the next Arnold update but it doesn't seem to have fixed the issue.

Steps to Reproduce:

Hi Giorgos, we are looking at this. It seems that there are also issues with new Arnold build due to us using their old SDK. We have fixed it for the next nightly build, but IPR remains a question.

You should get back to render count of the hairs when you press the Stop button in Arnold's IPR window. Does this not work for you?

Hi, when i leave IPR, yes the hair count returns to the set number for viewport count, but this is not the intended workflow. I would like the viewport count to be in the viewport and render count in the render obv. I can work around this for now since its still better then Xgen. I tried the new 2017 xgen interactive groom. Its pretty cool to comb but doesn't seem to have clumping modifyers and isn't a complete solution for hair yet but they did ditch ptx...so thats an improvement.

I'll look out for the next build.

Cheers
