Description: | Hey Marcel, If i'm bugging you guys to much let me know. But I came across and odd behaviour and was wondering if it was a bug. Basic "fur ball" hair render in maya doesn't seem to take the underlying UVs, but when exported via Ornatrix .abc it renders as expected. ?? wierd? I can get the desired result if I put a MeshFromStrands node but that defeats the purpose of a curve/hair primative.... distance along strand from the VrayhairSampler works perfectly FYI.... I can work around it by just exporting an .abc file before i start dev, but thought I'd bring it up. in the second picture I'd expect both furballs to look like the one on the Right (.abc via vray proxyNode) |
Steps to Reproduce: | 1. make furball 2. attach vray shader with ramp 3. export furball as ornatrix .abc 4. import using vray proxy node and apply same vray shader as in #2 5 render and compare. using build Ornatrix_1.0.9.8686 |
