Defect: Hair direction breaks when reopening file

Problem

Description:

When grooming in Maya, after grooming the guides, if you save the file and close/ reopen. the guides break and the only way to fix it is to toggle on and off the hairFromGuides node. This is consistant every time now.

Also, I have had multiple instinces where when using the combToSurface feature, I would have to collapse afterwards becuase the same issue occurs.

MArsel, I can provide a file if you need one.

Steps to Reproduce:

Groom using edit guides, save and reopen.

Groom with edit guides, collapse to bakedGuides, save and reopen

What seems to help is if I lock the root position in the hairFromGuides.

jmarcus	With teh sample file that I had sent, yes. On a sphere, no. The surface comb issues was pretty common but shows up mid way through a groom.
