Please check if you have this file: c:\windows\system32\MSVCR120.DLL

If not, please install vcredist_x64.exe from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

If you already have that file, please get the x64 version of http://www.dependencywalker.com/, start it and open C:/Program Files/Ephere/Ornatrix for Maya/2017/Ornatrix.mll, then save the session into a .dwi file and post it here.

Hi, it worked, thanks!

Just another question: I understand that for rendering only, I don't need a license. But am I able to open a scene that has ornatrix without license in order to render?

Yes, you can open the scene and render tthe hair, the only limitation is that you cannot save any changes made in the hair using the demo.

Hum so I have to install the demo? I'm trygin to install the commercial.

Thanks!

For rendering you can install the demo version because the commercial version is going to ask for a license.

Hi Im having the smae issue but I already have the x64 version installed, do you only need the x64 download of the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 or the x86/arm ones?

Just x64

Hi, Ive Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 (and 2015 as well) x64 already installed already but Im still getting the same error? Ive run the dependency walker and Ive attached the dwi file. Thanks!

It didnt seem to want to upload so heres the link to the file

First, your .dwi file is for VrayOxHairMaya.mll, not for the main plugin Ornatrix.mll. So I don't understand, which plugin doesn't load for you, the main Ornatrix plugin or just VrayOxHairMaya? Or both?

Then I see that VrayOxHairMaya.mll is for Maya 2018, but in the list of dependent DLLs VRay.dll is from Maya2018\bin while the others (foundation, tbb, etc.) are from Maya2016\bin. I don't know how can this happen, did you add the correct search path in Dependency Walker? Or maybe you have added some Maya bin directory to your PATH variable?

Last, I see that your VRay.dll file is missing some functions that VrayOxHairMaya.mll needs. Is your VRay version 4.0 or an earlier one? VrayOxHairMaya now supports just VRay 4.0.
