Hello,

Please give me more information: Ornatrix version, Maya version, Render engine version, can you see this same issue in viewport or only in render? Are you using a texture map in any operator?

Hi!

Maya 2017, V-Ray 3.6, Ornatrix 1.3.2.12200.

It happens on the viewport too, I'm using maps on the distribution multiplier and lenght node, removing the maps doens't solve the issue.

Thanks!

I think I have this scene ,I can give it a try if you send me the maps to the same email address as before, or even better if you have an updated version of this scene.

Sure, sent you through wetransfer.

Thanks!

Humm... I don't see any problem with your scene. The only problem I can see is the hairs penetrating the distribution surface near the ears. I think you just have to add more sinks in SurfaceComb node and decrease the lenght of the strands in the LengthNode.

Didn't you get this errors(attachment)?

Hey, sorry for the delay.

Yes, the fur in my scene looks pretty differetn though, but the problem seems to be that the fur is penetrating the mesh, that's why you can see some "holes". Try using the SurfaceComb node on top of HairFromGuides.

humm putting the surface comb at the top of hfg didn't help.

The weird is that the error is like a square, it doesnt make sense.

Try adding more sinks to those areas.

It actually got better by adding sinks, but there's still some errors (lines).

Thanks!

The problem was fixed by changing the guide interpolation to Polar.

Thanks!

Thank you for letting us know!
