Problem

Description:	Maya 2018.5 Ornatrix (Latest build) Crash error message: // Error: V-Ray : There was a fatal error updating the scene at time 1.000000 for V-Ray
Steps to Reproduce:	Add poly sphere. Add Ornatrix for Maya to sphere. Render Vray for Maya. Vray error. Remove Ornatrix from sphere, Vray renders properly.

Jeordanis Figuereo	Hello, I tried with the latest version of VRay and Ornatrix in Maya 2018.5, it seems to work fine, see the gif below: Since you are using an older version of VRay, if you are using the ChangeWidth operator try using RenderSettings instead. This operator is deprecated but you can add using MEL. ricky@rjdm.com	Hi, great that it's working for you but I tried on two (Windows 10) workstations here and we get the same result: // Error: V-Ray : There was a fatal error updating the scene at time 1.000000 for V-Ray Both running Maya 2018, the latest build of Ornatrix and the latest build of Vray. I'm also going to contact Chaos Group support about this as it could be Vray that's the problem. Would it help to send you a file? Cheers

Jeordanis Figuereo	Hi, Have you tried my suggestion? If you are using V-Ray 3.6 this is easy to fix, as I described in my previews post. If you are using V-Ray 4 then you should not get any crashes. ricky@rjdm.com	Hi We've given up on Vray for now. But I do find it confusing which Vray you are talkinmg about. we use Vray Adv for Maya, if there is a specific procedure for that version of Vray and Ornatrix then please point me to it on your website. Cheers Jim
