Posted by:EPHERE
Data created:8 August
New:
- The installers and plugin files are now digitally signed, so Windows no longer shows the unrecognized publisher warning during installation and macOS accepts the package without a Gatekeeper prompt
- Clumping can now use the strand groups of the control guides instead of those of the input hair (#5150)
- Generate Strand Data: the Texture Multiplier parameter now supports RGB values, so several strand groups can be created from a single texture map (#5987)
- Viewport add, subtract and toggle selection now follow one consistent convention across all selection tools (#7009)

Fixed:
- Hair no longer turns invisible when freezing its transform (#6742)
- Undoing a sink creation no longer reports an error (#6728)
- Clumping no longer differs between the viewport and the render or Alembic export (#6729)
- Moov strand to strand collision no longer explodes hair at small scales, and the capsule radius now follows the strand width (#7027)
- A distribution map no longer forces a full root regeneration on every Hair From Guides evaluation, which restores interactive speed when combing dense hair (#7068)
- Hair From Guides: the Parting tool now separates the hair (#7026), and no longer crashes when it is deactivated (#7028)
- Edit Guides: strand selection no longer breaks after using a brush tool (#7017)
- Edit Guides: the Collision Distance ramp now affects Collide with Surface (#7018)
- Edit Guides: Select By Strand Group no longer widens the strand group value and snowballs the selection (#7030)
- Edit Guides: the delete button no longer acts on a stale node name after a rename or a node switch (#7046)
- Guides no longer jump back after combing when the strand has no nearby change (#7035)
- Clump Hairs tool: the strand selection is no longer offset from the drawn marquee (#7008)
