Hair Sim Bug | AdoptExternalGuides Operator Not Working

So I've been trying to test the AdoptExternalGuides node and while it seems to get the job done as far as deforming a groom, it seems to offset my groom by a lot. This seems to only occur with my rigs, if I were to try this with a regular Poly Spere, it would simulate and deform perfectly. Here, I'll show a playblast

My apologies, I found the solution. You have to make a duplicate of the animated guides, make sure they're static and assign them as reference guides. 

 

But what's the fastest way to duplicate the groom? I don't see an option for that

The video is not available, can you please reupload it? From what I understand this may be a double transform issue, which can be solved by parenting the hair objects transforms in the right way.

Use the Duplicate Special tool to duplicate a hair object with the whole input graph. Use the settings shown in the image below:

Yes, you were right, it was a double transform. Also, thank you very much for the solution. I'm very fond of the AdoptExternalGuides feature, makes simulation much more pleasant. Underrated feature
