Hello guys! I have a general thought about how the hair is distributed on the mesh with a distribution map. Let us say you have a sphere and hair count of 100. If you plug in a map in the distribution slot that cuts the groom area in half. The "scattered"-amount is still 100 but only 50 hair strand are showing. One solution is to cut the mesh so it concentrates on the half that you want the hair to be on. But it feels like it should be possible to force the amount of hair a mask rather than to have double the amount of hair (which can make the scene very slow) to make up for the lost area or start cutting meshes. But perhaps cutting meshes is the only way to go?
