painting channels very unreliable, sometimes i click the brush mode and tools don't show up. when i rename edit guides node tools show up, but clicking paint brush doesn't set guide colors to that of the channel, sometimes selecting guides and then clicking paint brush will make it reset, sometimes I have to reopen maya file for guides to start working, sometimes it just doesn't work no matter what I do. This is version 2.3, but has existed in 2.2 as well
