"Auto push Away from Mesh" does not work for me sometimes when I am combing, and press the "Push away from Mesh" button neither.
but if I select some guides, it push them!and I don´t have the "Affect Selected Only" apply.

Yes, this command is designed to only work on selected guides. This is not a bug. Maybe the command name should be more clear about this fact.
