Ornatrix Maya: Scatter; How do I replace every hair?

I'm trying to use the scatter opperator but am having an issue where it's not replacing every hair, instead is giving me a scatter result that is much lower than the hair count. See image attatched. I need to have width control and this is the only settings configuration I can see which allows that.

Masmus94	all the hairs are there i find that after i apply a scatter i need t go into the scatter settings and change the output to reference just to make sure they are all there and after i verify its all there adding a rotate operator feathers into full view brings all your feathers into view i should add after you check its all there change the settings back to the default than add the rotate operator
