roots and strands are clipping through mesh on render view

When finishing a Moov Physics sim. I have a problem where the roots move through the mesh when i render the image, from what i can tell the guides look fine when viewing through the viewport in maya but when rendering the hair clips through the mesh.

Whats a good workflow to stop this from happening, also some good tips could be useful for a more realistic sim could be useful, since im not fully familiar on how to use moov yet.

It will depend on your scene and how/where you are using Moov. Is difficult to know without the scene. You can share a stripped version of your scene to my email: jeordanis .f (at) ephere .com.

Seems like i have found that placing moov physics beneath hair from guides has solved this issue, i had it on top before i dont know if thats what i was supposed to do.

Exactly. It should be below Hairs from Guides.
