I'm trying to send a character to rebus. I'm getting "render scripts not allowed: catchQuiet( OxSetIsRendering(true) )"

if i remove the scripts from the bottom of the render settings window rebus still sees them. If I import into a fresh scene same issue.

I asked the guys at rebus and they say "no scripts allowed" which isnt much help.  What am I overlooking? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hello,

OxSetIsRendering(true) is an Ornatrix MEL script that is executed before rendering the hair. This let's Ornatrix know that the hair is going to be rendered so it can prepare the hair for rendering.

I'm not sure why Rebus will block the render flag scripts but we can contact them to ask for clarification and see what we can do.

Thanks! That would be a great help. Would love to send hair stuff to the farm.

Hi again,

As we suspected, the error comes from the render farm. They don't allow the user to run scripts in the render farm. As I mentioned above, Ornatrix needs this script to prepare the hair for rendering. The solution is to remove the render flag scripts as you already did, set them manually and render as you did before. As a note, Agustin from Rebus also mentioned that the hair simulation should be baked.
