Ornatrix Maya: Planting new guides with a pre-defined strand group?

As the title says, I want to plant new guides with a pre-defined strand group number? Is this possible? I know I can plant guides then change the number of the Strand Group manually, is there not a way to say "newly created guides use this strand group number until I want to change the strand group number"?

Jeordanis Figuereo	Hello, My apologies, sometimes the posts get buried very quickly. When you are planting guides in Edit Guides with the Plant Guides tool, you can enable Adopt Guide Shape in the tool options window. This will not only make the newly planted guides a copy of the selected guide, but will also inherit the same strand group.
