License not recognised... sometimes???

Hello, I've sent an email through my employer regarding this issue yesterday.

I've installed Ornatrix Maya v3 on monday 27/3 and it has been working erratically to say the least. The "license required" popup appears sometimes, sometimes I can use the plugin just fine. This is causing delays with our timeline so some help would be appreciated. So far I've tried installing and uninstalling the license server, uninstalling ornatrix, reinstalling it again and it seems that no matter what I try the plugin works.. sometimes and sometimes, it won't let me use it.

I get the "Authorization failed" popup either when launching Maya OR when attempting to open a scene with a Ox groom in it. The reasons for the Auth fail are varied, sometimes it states there is already a license assigned to my machine, sometimes it states it's a connection issue. I've waited far longer than 15 minutes on some occasions and still won't let me. It has a mind of its own.

Yes I have internet connection and my browser can access ephere.com without issues, yes I have whitelisted the ports on my firewall, I have tried running Maya as an administrator, I have tried disabling the antivirus, I disabled UAC. This is Maya 2022 and Windows 11, Ornatrix v3.

Similarly (not sure if for the same reasons) I've noticed somewhat slower performance and more crashes when using the plugin now compared to December-January when I last used it on the same computer.

I'm wondering, is there anything I can do to check my installation is fine?

Perhaps is Ephere experiencing problems with their servers and that's why I get randomly rejected?
