I am trying to figure out a good workflow for styling some hair on a static mesh and then transferring that hair to an animated alembic cache character.
At the moment i'm thinking i should create the hair on some detached head geo from the static mesh and then parent those to the alembic cache. I'm not sure if there is a better way? I am also not sure my original thoery with work because i don't know if you can partent objects to alembic caches.
