Rigged Hair

I was thinking about this the other day, and I'm not sure it's possible so I thought I would ask the community. I know that Ornatrix can convert meshs to hair. I use geometry for creating hair styles, and sometimes I rig the hair so that I can easily pose it for a still image. I can use a spline IK rig on the clumps of hair so that I can place and manipulate the hair into a position that I want. I prefer this to simulation because the control is more precise if you rig it properly. Is it possible to have ornatrix Mesh to strands follow along with the rig? So that say if I pose a braid, I can see the Ornatrix strands at render time, then be able to repose the rigged strand group and have the Ornatrix Hair follow along?

Hi,

Ornatrix hair itself cannot be rigged. The Only way to move Ornatrix hair

using rig controls is with hair that has been generated from polygon strips

or from spline curves. In these cases you can just rig the object from which the hair was generated

and the hair will follow it.

Is that what you are looking for?
