Hello,

Does ornatrix support renderman 25 ? It says so in the documentation but renderman does not render the hair. Am I missing something ?

I'm on maya 2023 renderman 25 MacOS

I have been trying to validate this but I haven't been able to get Renderman to show up in my Maya installations. 

I contacted support and will get back to you once I get this sorted out. Meanwhile, a possible workaround for you is to render the hair as polygons using Mesh fron Strands.

Looks like our Renderman licenses have expired, we won't be able to test this soon.

I remember that our procedural worked for Renderman 24 on all platforms.

I think PRMan 25 API is compatible with 24 (it was 24 that was a major change since 23), so the procedural for 24 should work in 25 too, but who knows, maybe I'm missing something.

Do you have the option to test on Windows too?

Looks like we'll have to recompile the procedural for Renderman 25, hopefully this will happen within a few days.

Thanks ! Not completely related but when using "mesh from hair", sometimes it produces 2 meshes, one static and one foloowing the animation. I think it's a bug ?

It's happening when the character is referenced : maya can't delete the mesh created when you turn on and off the modifier, because it is locked.
