How to orient based on mesh

Hi,

I use proxy mesh strand but it destroy orient of haircards. I saw tutorial 3ds max has transfer nomal (3dxmax can add object but Maya doesn't..)

Are there any ways to fix this with 1 click instead of using Rotate?

i'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, Sorry forthe delay, I missed this post.

For proxies you have to rotate the proxy object itself. Enter vertex mode in the original object and rotate it 90 degrees.
