Hello, I am using Maya and VRay. I am trying to create a grass look that is more stylised. For this I want the shape of each grass hair to be a flat card instead of a cylindar, and the only way I could acheive it is by using MeshFromStrands and covnerting it to "flat ribbons strands". However for grass this method is creating a very heavy scene. Is there a way to acheive the look of a flat card for each hair without converting to mesh ? Example attached. |
