Bug Report: XGen guides become unselectable when alternating between Ornatrix and XGen in the same session

Environment
- Maya 2024.2.4
- Ornatrix Maya v5.1.6.38179
- OS: Windows 11

Description
When alternating between Ornatrix and XGen (Legacy) work within the same scene and session, XGen guides become unselectable every time the workflow switches to XGen after working in Ornatrix. This is not a one-time issue it happens consistently each time the switch occurs. Saving and reopening the file restores guide selection temporarily, but the issue reoccurs as soon as Ornatrix tools are used again before switching back to XGen.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Open a Maya scene containing both Ornatrix hair objects and XGen (Legacy) guides
2. Work with Ornatrix tools
3. Switch to XGen and attempt to select guides in the viewport
4. Guides cannot be selected clicking has no effect
5. Save the file and reopen it guide selection works again
6. Work with Ornatrix tools again
7. Switch to XGen guides are unselectable again
8. Steps 57 repeat indefinitely throughout the session

Expected Behavior
XGen guides should remain selectable regardless of how many times the workflow switches between Ornatrix and XGen.

Actual Behavior
Every time the workflow switches from Ornatrix to XGen, guides become unselectable. A file save and reload is required each time to restore functionality. This makes any workflow that involves both plugins extremely disruptive.

Notes

- Soft selection is not enabled
- The issue does not occur when only XGen or only Ornatrix is used
