regular alembic? vray proxy?
what is this process? I get an error when exporting with ornatrix alembic, thoughts?
Looks like you're trying to export the hair mesh? Ornatrix Alembic only exports hair strands. So turn off Mesh from Strands first and then export.

ok but if i want to export a mesh... just a regular alembic or should i go straight to a vray proxy?

You'd use regular Alembic for that, correct. Ornatrix Alembic just exports hair curves.
