Hi there, I have been attempting to import some guides from zbrush fibermesh to style my ornatrix hair.  I can successfully import in the strands and attach ornatrix but the rotation of the hair cards im trying to create seems to have inherited  that of the fibermesh curve and i dont seem to be able to change it with the rotation node.  Am im doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Hi will,

I just tried importing the fibermesh curves in Maya and it seems to be working as intended. Can I see a capture of your operator stack? Thanks.

Have you made some kind of transformation to your guides or the distribution mesh? That can cause impredictable results when you use grounded strands. If so, you can try deleting the history and freezing the transformation.

If you are using the curves to generate hair cards with MeshFromStrands, you should be able to face all the cards in the direction of the distribution mesh using the Rotate operator with a value of 0 and check the option "Orient Based On Strand Shape".
