Hair groom jitters with blend shapes

Hi Everyone

I've got a character which is rigged and has an Ornatrix fur all working nicely. But I have added some test facial blend shapes for my character and everytime I animate them, my groom jitters and jumps. I have "Remember Root Positions" checked and have experimented with freezing my groom as well but that just produces a feather like effect whereby I lose all my hair thickness detail.

I've also played around with the deformation order but that doesn't seem to help either. Is there a solution for this?

Hi Geoff,

Try using Remember Roots in Guides From Surface AND Hair From Guides, also use Remember Clusters if you are using a Hair Cluster operator.
