Hi, I'm working on a character which has "static" hair, meanning it wont be simulated. For many reasons I found the best solution for this was to export a RS Proxy and just loading that in the render scenes. When I tried the demo it was working as expected, but now with the licensed version, seems like the latest build wont export the render settings when exporting a RS Proxy, because the strands are much thicker than the should (exactly as if I bypass the render settings before exporting the RS Proxy). And actually did a test exporting with and without render setting in the Ornatrix Operator Stack and the result was exactly the same in both cases, no influence from the Render Settings at all. I'm using Ornatrix Maya v1.1.9.10271 and Redshift 2.0.84 on Maya 2016 SP6. Any idea on what's going on?
Thanks in advance, Orlando

Me again, it's hard to explain and to understand what's going on so I recorded a video to show you the issue https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-vl7McjsrV3aG0tVjJsYXhralU/view?usp=sharing

Thanks for looking into it Jeordanis. Strange that is working fine there. I did the test with a production asset and then with the simple sphere. Same result on both cases. And what I really find odd is that it was working with the demo version. I'll try updating Redshift to a more recent build although I was trying to avoid that because I'm in the middle of a project. Anyway, will try and report back soon.

So I updated Redshift to the latest build (2.0.87) and unfortunately the issue is still there for me. Maybe is not Redshift but the Maya version? Or something broken in the latest Ornatrix build?

Hi Jeordanis, just a heads up on this: I tried with Maya 2017 update 3 and Redshift 2.0.87 and is working as expected. Unfortunately not working on Maya 2016 SP6 which is what we're using for shading, lighting and rendering. So, something must be broken in the plugin for Maya 2016. Is there any chance you can take a look at it? Changing the project to Maya 2017 is definitely not an option for us.

I just tried this with Maya 2016 sp 3 and Redshift 2.0.86 on Windows and there seems to be no problem. The proxy gets rendered with proper render settings. I even changed the render settings in the first instance of Maya, exported the proxy again, then rendered the proxy in the second instance of Maya and the new render settings were immediately picked up.
