We are trying to migrate one groom to another mesh. We've watched:
What seems not to be transferring is the set/given custom strand groups. We really like this feature. Lets say we have set length to 0.500 on strand group 5 and when we copy paste the LengthNode operator (like in the video) it doesn't seem to be affecting the length of strand group 5. Since the strand groups doesn't export along with the curves.
Do we miss anything? Perhaps it is possible?
We are using an evauation version, perhaps this feature is missing?
I don't thunk the strand groups are exported becauae the hair is being converted to curves, unfortunately. This is a workaround while we find a more efficient way to transfer hair between characters. I have an idea that I'll try later today, I'll let you know If it works.
