Hi, I solveed the vray render problem with the method using Reder Setting node.(MEL command: OxAddStrandOperator "" "RenderSettingsNode";)

 

but i faced another problem.

 

If anyone is doing 3D work, you will know that the render part requires continual modification and verification for good quality scenes.

But when I use Vray once and stop the render for modification, the hair guide is getting messy and it is impossible to continue working.

 

Do you have a good idea about this issue?

hi, i thought my test file has problem because of changing Ornatrix version for some test.

but it isnt.

I tried Fundamental Fundamental Setting New File, this problem happen again and again.

this happening can't restore with "Ctrl + Z"

Does this problem only happen to me?

Hi,

I was able to reproduce this issue. This is related to the HairCluster operators on present on your scene. The HairCluster operator is not in development anymore, it was replaced by the Clump operator on V2. If you are using V2 please use the Clump operator instead. Another solution is to collapse the hair stack below the last HairCluster operator.

I just found something interesting. Are you using a displacement map or something that can change the topology of the head at render time? You can solve this issue by just turning ON Remember Roots Positions on HairFromGuides.

 First, thank you for reviewing my answer in detail.

I got your reply, and i tried many times with your answer.

As you said, I am sure about that Hair Cluster Node was the biggest problem.

And the second suggestion you gave me also found a problem.

After pressing "Remeber Roots Positions" on Hair From Guides, it is no problem to render multiple times.
But I turned off A to make a modification, and press it again to finish.
The problem occurs again in the render.
If you turn off "Remeber Roots Positions" on Hair From Guides at this time, you will see the problem in the viewport.

The obvious thing is that if the Cluster node is in the stack, I can immediately see the problem in the viewport through turning ON Remember Roots Positions without having to render it.

So,I conclude that the best way to solve this problem is not using HairClusterNode. (I use Ornatrix v2, not v1)

Is there a new tutorial on "clustering" on the official homepage?

I have not used the Clump node in detail yet,
I don't know the node that contains the functionality of the Hair Cluster.
