guide floating in air due to subdivision

Hey workflow question, if I have a low poly mesh that I spawn hair from and I subdivide that mesh at rendertime, the guide roots don't interpolate and float in mid air.  I need to use the base rigged model as it is, and don't want to subdivide the scalp geo as it won't be able to wrap to the non subdivided rigged model as easily.  Is there a way to make ornatrix guides to interpolate as if they're spawning on subdivided geo when it isn't?

Ornatrix hair is topology dependent, if the topology changes at render time, the hair will change. Bake the hair into a BakedHairNode, this node allowes you to select a new ground mesh, select the low poly mesh and see if this fixes the render as well.
