Description:

There's control for the amount of attraction towards the cluster tip, twist amount which is nice but how do i control the number and distribution of the guide clusters?

The guide from mesh node that creates the actual guides dues not have any influence (by modifying the count) over the number of clusters in the guide cluster node.

Follow Ups

Also how can i control the radius of influence of the clusters? Right now the whole surface is influenced by clusters and the cluster multiplier des not do anything to it, i applied a painted map for this with no effect

In guide cluster operator the guides are the clusters. The hair cluster operator is the one where you can change the cluster count.

There is no influence control right now, although it could be a useful option.
