Is there a way to hide guides during styling process ? Indeed, guide often disturb the visibility and it's difficult to figure out what does looks like the final hair style like in this exemple : If we hide visibilité with C4D object buton, It just disable the hairs. What I would like, is to let them enable but not visible. I can't find this info in documentation.

Thanks, I was pretty to use this option in the past but couldn't remember how to achieve it. Maybe a more accessible checkbox will be convenient for this kind of repetitive operation.

Ok, it's in root mode. You didn't mention that. When should I be in root mode versus strand mode?
Also, when hitting the hide button, some hairs get selected on the other side of the groom and won't get unselected. It seems buggy because there's no way anyone could be produective with the way it is now.

Is up to you. Each mode allows you to select and edit guides in a different way. More information about edit modes can be found here.
I cannot reproduce that here. When unhide guides there are not selected. The Hide button is greyed out when no guides are selected. I tested on R23, latest Ox stable build, Windows:
Same for this one. It works the same as in the gif above. No extra guides selected after using the Hide button. Please double check here that you have a compatible version of C4D. Also, what OS are you using? Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
