Impossible to assign groups to stripes in V2 build of december. Until yesterday, I use to use V3 of septembre and it use to work ... most of the time ... Indeed, I notice several time after re-openning a project that groups I had assign to strips randomly reset to 0. Impossible to reproduce the bug, because I didn't identify when and how this happened exactly. Whatever, groups don't work with V2 and strips, and as I posted it in another thread, (https://ephere.com/plugins/maxon/c4d/ornatrix/forums/general/thread_14375.html), impossible to do it with edit tool when strips are used, even converting hairs from strips with the "Hairs to Guide" tool. My project start to become the hell. I'm in front of a tonnes of bug and don't have the time to post here every time something get wrong. And most of the time, I can't reproduce the bugs, so impossible to start a thread. I spoke about it to a friend who use ornatrix on 3DsMax, and C4D version is clearly in late and a lot more instable ! I think I spent at least the half of my time trying to find solution to bugs and, after several weeks on the exact same comb, I become more and more deserparate ... | For the reseting of the hairs strips groups of Ornatrix V3, I ve created this tread : https://ephere.com/plugins/maxon/c4d/ornatrix/forums/general/thread_14418.html
But in V2 of decembre, this is another issue because groups in strips just don't work at all. I precise that it was working in some previous versions (I just don't remember which one) ;-) |
