Install Ornatrix again, then install the license server (You can get it from your download page) and see if any error appears in the command line, if so, attach a screenshot here. Also install the license server manager, run it an attach a screenshot. You can find it here. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)

Please try this:
Before doing this, make sure that your antivirus is not blocking the license server. If so, you should add it to the allowed list of your antivirus or firewall. Some antivirus like kaspersky will trigger a false positive when running the license server. If you get any error during this process try to take a screenshot. Sorry for the inconvenience, but don't worry, we will figure this out.

OK, I unistalled Ornatrix from Max and Maya WITH admin privilages uninstalled services (See 10_22). CMD says uninstall has comleted but couold not uninstall services?? what does that mean? Checked the Serivices list and could not see Ephere LS there. installed just Max version when i start Ornatrix and create hair i get 10_22_A so click "License this computer" Is this right? I suppose. And then again I get 10_22_B if I click anywhere in the modifier stuck. I'm desparate at this point. what can i do? yoshi

I assume you're installing the license server on the same computer as Ornatrix? If so, the IP in the license dialog should be 127.0.0.1 If it still doesn't work please see what the license server manager shows on this computer: https://ephere.com/docs/License_Server_Manager.html Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

I see that you already showed the license server manager picture, please just try it again to make sure. The biggest thing for me is the IP address you entered in the licensing dialog, it should be 127.0.0.1 Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

Ok, I unistalled Ornatrix, Released license, uninstalled the license server, then before reinstalling Ornatrix I installed the license server from the download link and directed to IP 127.0.0.1. And then installed Ornatrix for Max and it WORKS! Thank you very much for your help. Now what is the right step to install Ornatrix for Maya? I'm a bit concerned as befor all this licensing problem happend Ornatrix for Maya was workingfine untill I installed Ornatrix for Max . Then this pop up came up saying "This computer has previously assigned license". Can I just install Ornatrix for Maya? And if the pop up cames up should I rather connect to a license server and direct it to 127.0.0.1??
Thanks Yoshi | |
