Hi Guys, We found an error when trying to render Ornatrix ahir with a Sun Positioner. We will investigate this and get back to you as soon as we have more info. Right now it seems to be working fine if you render the scene with the Sun Positioner BEFORE adding Ox hair, if you add the hair after the Sun Positioner it will work as expected. | I also tried with the standard Arnold Light and it renders fine without an HDR. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.) |
| Does the demo version work with Arnold? Downloaded the demo version, does not seem to render in Arnold. I would like to test it out and confirm it renders with Arnold in 3ds max 2019 before I actually buy it. |
| Hello, The support for Arnold in Max started on V6 beta, which is not out yet and there is no demo version it until release. If you want to try out V6 beta let me know your user name and I will make you part of the beta. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.) |
| That would be awesome. My user name is mail@insanepoly.com |
| Hey guys Is "OX Arnold" modifier available in the demo version ? I installed 6.1.0.18303 demo version and didn't find "OX Arnold" modifier. |
| Yes but in latest build it's only available in Max 2019. We already fixed it for next minor version. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| Hello Is OX Arnold modifier available for MAX 2018 ?!!! There is a situation here that I need to have this feature to save lots of render time. |
| It should be available in the latest nightly, yes. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| Hi, is the problem with rendering OX hair with the Physical Sun & Sky going to be solved soon? Can't seem to get the workaround to work that was mentioned in an earlier post. Also, Arnold GPU renders hair dark as well even with an hdri.
