I have a figure that is imported to Maya as an Alembic file. There's basically the figure, and then there's the hair cap that are each part of the same alembic file. Can you attach guild hairs to the alembic hair cap? Do I need to bake the haircap itself as it's own alembic file, and then add the figure as a collision object?
I'm not sure if it's done this way. I'm just learning about using alembic and I'd love to find the best way of doing this.
