Hi Guys, I'm a new Ornatrix user for Maya and i was wondeirng if there's a quicker way to smooth curve inside Ornatrix? Here, as you can see the curve pretty sharp and i'm hoping that i can smoother quickly rather than combing it using comb smooth brush.

I created pretty smooth curve using basic curve tool inside Maya; the curve is actually pretty smooth but when i converted it to Ornatrix strand its' kinda jagged. I tried to increased its Point Count to a higher value; but resulting in the curve penetrated the head. Is there a better solution?

Hello, You can either increase the point count in GuidesFromCurves or add the Detail node on top to do the same. When making changes to GuidesFromCurves you have to re-attach the roots in GroundStrands(See the docs here) node to avoid the issue you see in the second image. Basically, if the roots are already attached you just have to click Attach Roots twice to detach and then re-attach. Let me know if this helps. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.) | |

Hi, Yes, it seems to work after I re-attached the roots.
