Huge scale problems

Hi, when I create a furball at scale 1.00 the scale of the hair is too big. I have to always put the scale to 0.01 and every modifier has to be put low as well. I have attached a scene with furball at 1.0 scale, it is massive.

I can't make small/medium curls either because the magnitude is too big and the curls get all over the place. I have attached a scene with the curl modifier on default, the curls are too big.

I also have a problem with the "strands from mesh" "proxy mesh" setting, the strands become too big and engulf the mesh. The "proxy mesh" is a helix. I want the mesh to have smaller helix shapes along the guides instead of englufing the mesh in huge helix shapes. I have attached a scene with furball scale at 0.01, and the helix as a "proxy mesh" for "strands from mesh," to give you an idea of what is happening.

These people seem to be having the same issues as me:

Hello,

I understand the confusion, however t's working correctly. Ornatrix uses the scale set for the scene. For example, if your scene it's in centimeters every parameter on all Ox nodes are in centimeters as well.So in the scenes curls.mb and furball.mb, you are creating 50cm long hair strands in a 1cm radius sphere, so the hair it's expected to be very long in comparison to the sphere.

In the following example I'm creating 50cm hair strands in a 58cm radius sphere:

This means that 50cm long strands are 50cm long no matter where you generate them, and all the parameters will react accordingly. My suggestion is to scale your character accordingly, preferably in a real world scale. Same problem with the scene mesh_from_strands_.mb.

I hope that helps.
