I'm trying to learn Ornatrix through a series of tutorials. When I get to the part where I have to apply barycentric interpolation I get this result (on the image) and it looks wrong. Why does hair grow on the other side of model?

Hi,

You need to specify a multiplier map as distribution in Hairs from Guides to tell Ornatrix where the hair should grow. Otherwise it will grow on the whole mesh. The distribution map is a black and white texture map where black equals 0(No hair) and white equals 1. See the Hairs from Guides documentation for more options to determine the hair distribution area. This video fragment shows the process in C4D, which works the same way in Maya: https://youtu.be/95XiLF-0TR8?t=635
