Hi, You need to specify a multiplier map as distribution in Hairs from Guides to tell Ornatrix where the hair should grow. Otherwise it will grow on the whole mesh. The distribution map is a black and white texture map where black equals 0(No hair) and white equals 1. See the Hairs from Guides documentation for more options to determine the hair distribution area.
