Errors on 3ds Max Start Up 

If you experience error messages during 3ds Max startup it is possible that you do not have all of the components required for running Ornatrix installed on your system.

The typical error will look something like:

Error Loading Plug-in DLL
---------------------------
DLL ...\Ephere.Plugins.Autodesk.Max.Ornatrix.dlo failed to initialize.
Error code 126 - The specified module could not be found.

 

Visual C++ Runtime 

All versions of Ornatrix are built using Visual C++ 2022 runtimes, which are usually present in Windows 8 and later (with latest updates). If for some reason these libraries are missing on your computer, please download and install them from here: https://aka.ms/vc14/vc_redist.x64.exe
