Problem

Description:

I reported that there was no GPU hair in the latest v3 build for Maya 2022.3 with DirectX 11 Viewport. I've now tried installing the v4 beta as the changelist for it says this was fixed. However i still have the same problem, plus I get a consistent crash when i try to select guides. I've also attached an error message i get on openign maya.

I'm currently employed as the Principle Character Artist at Sony london Studio, I'd love to be able to make Orntarix part of our pipeline as I much prefer it over Xgen. is there anyway we can look at an expited investigation of this?

Hi,

About GPU display with DirectX, I replied to your previous post asking for feedback. Posting it as a fixed bug was actually a mistake.

I cannot reproduce the crash selecting guides but I will keep investigating. Meanwhile, follow this instructions to help us debug the issue.

About the error message: Either upgrade Arnold to the latest version. Disable Autoload if you are not using it or delete the file shown in the error message.

Thanks Jeordanis. I'm trying to get the OpenGL option enabled by our team here as well, but thought it worthwhile reporting anyway. I'll just focus on getting it fixed at our end then.

Great. Are you allowed to share a scene with us to debug the selection issue?
