Rendering with Arnold 

Ornatrix supports rendering hair with Arnold for Cinema4D plugin. No special steps are required for rendering hair with Arnold, all Ornatrix hair will appear inside rendered view.

 

Requirements 

Make sure to get the latest supported version of C4DtoA plugin from Arnold's website.

Ornatrix V4 targets C4DtoA 4.9 for Cinema 4D 2024-2026 (and C4DtoA 4.7 for R25-2023). See Arnold Compatibility for the full table of expected C4DtoA versions per Ornatrix and Cinema 4D release.

Note: rendering Ornatrix hair with Arnold is not supported in Cinema 4D R22.

 

Installation 

Ornatrix C4D Arnold plugin is automatically installed by the installer, no additional steps are necessary. The following file is copied into C4D's installation path:

• <c4droot>/plugins/Ornatrix/OrnatrixArnoldTranslator.xdl64
