Program crashes when trying to authorize
Symptoms
- 3dsmax crashes during the license server dialog, when trying to edit any of Ornatrix modifiers.
- License server service crashes when Ornatrix is trying to license itself
Cause
The license server installed on the system is outdated and needs to be re-downloaded and re-installed
Solution
- Run Windows Command Prompt (cmd) with Administrator privileges on the computer where "Ephere License Server" service is running
- Type
sc delete "EphereLicenseServer"and press Enter - Open Windows Services dialog and make sure that "Ephere License Server" service is no longer present
- Open 3dsmax and try to license Ornatrix again
