SDK Purpose

Ornatrix provides access to its core via a carefully designed software development kit. It allows our customers and other users outside our development team to access Ornatrix components and write extensions. This makes Ornatrix flexible enough to fit into any pipeline, and also allows people to implement their novel ideas on top of a proven and sound hair framework.

There are two ways to tap into Ornatrix: MaxScript SDK and the C++ SDK. Depending on your particular needs you might want to use MaxScript to create quick tools for Ornatrix or dive deeper and use C++ to get ultimate control of Ornatrix. Indeed, Ornatrix itself is built on top of the C++ SDK to ensure that our users have the same tools we do.
