Draw Strands
Draw Strands tool, accessible from the Tools tab of the Ornatrix Toolbar, allows creation or editing of hairs inside the viewport by clicking and dragging the mouse. Once a mouse is left-clicked a stroke begins, which defines the shape of a hair strand. When the mouse is released the stroke is finalized.- If the stroke begins on an empty space of a surface mesh a new strand is created.
- If a stroke begins over an existing strand the shape of the strand is modified to match the new stroke.
- If a surface doesn't have any hair components associated with it a new hair component is added
The created or modified strand changes are stored in an Edit Guides operator. If this operator component doesn't exist yet it will be automatically added.
