Hair from Guides 

Hair from Guides operator converts sparse guides into hair.

 

Parting Strips 

By default, if there are parting strips present they will be displayed in the viewport. This display can be turned off by unchecking the Display Parts option in the component settings. Parts can be created using the create parts tool.

 

Editing Parts 

To edit an existing part:

1. Click on a vertex of the part on the distribution surface to select it
2. The transformation gizmo will be displayed at the vertex position. Click and drag to move it around the surface.

 

Deleting Parts 

1. Select a part vertex by clicking on it
2. Press delete key to remove it
3. Removing the last parting vertex will delete the whole part
