Guides or Hair are not Displayed in Viewport 

 

Guides and Hair are not visible 

 

Problem 

Ornatrix guides and hair don't show up inside viewport but they are present in outliner and in the operator stack.

 

Cause 

Plugin shape display is hidden in Maya

 

Solution 

In Maya's Viewport menu press Show and check the Plugin Shapes option.

 

Edit Guides are not visible 

 

Problem 

When using the operator stack and selecting a guide operator, such as Edit Guides, the edited guides are not visible inside the viewport.

 

Cause 

The most likely cause for this is the selected guides operator having its own transform node in Maya and this transform node being hidden in the scene.

 

Solution 

Using Outliner, find the hidden transform and unhide it.
