Minimum System Requirements

Video Card

Lucid Physics uses NVidia Flex to drive its dynamics. There are two modes in which Flex can be run: CUDA and Direct 3D. Use the Global Settings dialog to specify these modes. If you have a video card with CUDA Compute Capability 3 or newer is installed you can use the CUDA mode. To check whether your video card supports this capability please check the video card comparison table.

For older and non-NVidia video cards use the Direct 3D mode.

Lucid Physics works with 3dsmax versions 2009 and newer. Both 32 and 64 bit operating systems are supported.

You might need to install the latest CUDA driver on your computer. To ensure that your system is compatible you can also try running NVidia Flex demos .
