Guides from Guide Mesh
Ornatrix allows you to export a special kind of mesh using mesh from strands operator, which serves as hair patches specially for animation with cloth simulators. This export type is referred to as guide mesh, and carries extra data required to re-create guides back from the mesh without losing any geometric data.
This operator allows you to convert a guide mesh back into a set of guides. Much like baked guides, you are required to re-specify the distribution surface to put the guides on. Once this modifier is applied on top of Ornatrix-generated guide mesh, you can use these guides for any purpose just as you would before.
If the mesh provided isn't generated by Ornatrix as a guide mesh, you will be given a message in the listener and no guides will be produced.
