Baked Guides
The Baked Guides operator stores a fixed state of guides inside the stack. It is usually the result of baking guides, which freezes the guides computed up to that point so they no longer recompute from the operators that produced them. This gives you a stable base of guides to build on, and a way to capture a guide state you want to keep.
Where baked guides come from
Baked Guides is typically produced by baking guides within the stack. See Baking Hair and Guides.
Working with baked guides
The stored guides are fixed, but you can continue to stack guide operators above Baked Guides to shape them further, and generate dense hair from them with Hair from Guides Operator. If the baked guides need a distribution surface, ground them with Ground Strands.
