Multiple Viewport Windows
By default, all of the App's panels live inside a single application window, where you can dock, tab, and rearrange them freely. Ornatrix App also has an optional mode that lets you drag panels out of the main window and into separate, free-floating operating-system windows. This is convenient on multi-monitor setups, where you might keep a large viewport on one screen and the property editors on another.
Enabling multiple windows
Multiple-window support is an advanced, experimental option and is turned off by default on Windows. You can enable it in the settings dialog under the interface preferences. Because the option changes how the application creates its windows, you will be asked to restart Ornatrix App for the change to take effect.
Why it is experimental
When multiple windows are enabled, a secondary floating window can, on rare occasions, cause the application to stop responding. This is a known limitation in the underlying windowing layer rather than a problem with your groom, and it is the reason the option ships disabled by default on Windows. If you enable it, save your work regularly.
Recommendation
If you work on a single monitor, there is no need to enable this option: docking and tabbing panels inside the main window already gives you a flexible layout. See The Ornatrix App Workspace.
